Our Objectives

Unity

To unite all Medical Laboratory Officers and Scientists in Kenya for the enhancement of peer review and information exchange.

High Standards of Professionalism

To establish and promote among its members a high standard of professional ethics and code of conduct and culture of professionalism in the practice of Laboratory Medicine in Kenya.

Progressive Education

To educate and inform the public, through workshops, seminars, webinars and boot camps as to the purpose, scope and practice of Laboratory Medicine and its role in healthcare service delivery.

Professional Improvement

To contribute to the improvement of professionalism through continuous in-service training in emerging trends in Medical Laboratory Science, scientific research & advancement in diagnostic laboratory science and technology.

Forum

To create a forum for information exchange and dissemination among its members through electronic and print media; publications, conferences and workshops or seminars.

Participation

To participate in decision making process with other stakeholders within the Kenyan Ministry of Health on improvement of health service delivery when necessary.
